Pistachios, with shell

Pistachios in shells are a variant that appeals to consumers. Here comes the cracking pleasure to the snacking fun. They can be opened by hand without any tools. The nutcracker is only helpful for completely closed specimens. Pistachios in the shell have a good shelf life. The health-promoting ingredients remain for a long time. With a fat content of just under 52 g, pistachios are in the middle of the nuts range. High-quality vegetable protein, polyunsaturated fatty acids and plenty of minerals are also among the health benefits of organic pistachios. With 130 mg calcium per 100 g, pistachios are a first-class supplier of this mineral. They are therefore in demand as a source of calcium in vegan and vegetarian cuisine. The magnesium and iron content of the pistachios is also impressive: 160 mg and 7.3 mg respectively of the green nuts contribute to a balanced diet.

Use

Delicious torrone, pistachio ice cream, pastries and last but not least mortadella benefit from both the interesting green color and the typical pistachio taste. Pistachios are also a popular ingredient in ham sausages, meat sausages and liver sausages. When pistachios are chopped or ground, the green color comes into its own. Pistachios therefore play an important role in confectionery. Our organic pistachios in shell are also good when roasted. In this variant they complement mueslis and wholesome dishes or are processed into spreads and pastes. Salted and roasted, the green seeds are at the very top of the party snacks and should therefore not be missing in any assortment.
